When I was a little girl, there was a commercial that Coca Cola made with a lot of arm-linked people singing together:
I'd like to teach the world to singIt demonstrates that no matter where we live, or the circumstances of our lives, we are all the same. In the 80s when I was a girl, it was that a little Soviet girl probably also liked Coke and M&Ms, now it is an Iraqi mom who just wants to know her daughters will be safe - and that the world they grow up in will be a little better and a little kinder than the one we grew up in.
in perfect harmony
For us, for our children...and for our children's children. Give us peace.

I remember that commercial! Peace to you also! Coming via Mimi's peace globe...
Sting has a great song called "Russians". Have you heard it? You post reminded me of it. It is nice to be in the peace movement with you!

I also remember that ad. Stopping by to wish you Peace by way of Mimi
Dad:
Definitely - that's perfect:
There's no such thing as a winnable war
It's a lie we don't believe any more
Can you believe I just realized now I can play the Dylan song?
There is no way to peace.
Peace is the way.
Peace to you and yours and the rest of the world
