My family joins me in sharing the difficult news that Gerald Ford, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather has passed away at 93 years of age. His life was filled with love of God, his family and his country.
Mostly I just really liked the statement the former first lady made - although President Ford's passing was very sad, to leave this Earth at 93 years having accomplished so much in his lifetime, including seeing his great-grandchildren seemed like a pretty good way.
@Lisa: I Feel Good has been stuck in my head since I heard. JB's passing was also sad.
@Karen: That's what I've found too. I'm sorry about your ex-boss' son.

And James Brown, too! I know, their accomplishments require separate acknowledgements...but I'm pretty sad about that loss.
My mother has always said that people die in threes. Sad as it is, my ex-boss' son would seem to be in good company this week.
