"What makes the sound ka?" Lindsay asked from the back seat of the car.
"The letter K?" I offered.
"No," she said, "The letter C."
"Ohhh! The letter C."
"What makes the sound sssss?"
"The letter C?"
"No," she said, a touch of impatience creeping into her voice. "The letter S."
"Oh! The letter S."
"What makes the sound sssss?"
"The letter S?"
"No!" she said loudly. "A snake."
"Ohh, right. A snake." I chuckled.
"What makes the sound ROOOOAR?"
"A lion?"
"No!!" she shouted. "A tiger."
